At Vijayash Foundation, we believe that true development is meaningful only when it is inclusive, equitable, and human-centered. Economic progress alone cannot build a developed nation unless the benefits of growth reach every section of society—especially children, youth, women, workers, rural communities, and underserved regions.
Social Sustainability represents the “S” in ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) and focuses on creating societies where opportunity, dignity, education, health, equality, and well-being are accessible to all.
Vijayash Foundation actively promotes a vision of Inclusive Growth, Social Inclusion, Equitable Development, Community Empowerment, and Human Well-Being, aligned with the larger national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
We believe that a developed India must be built not only through infrastructure and GDP growth, but also through:
- Equal access to education
- Youth empowerment and skill development
- Women empowerment and dignity
- Social harmony and inclusion
- Health, well-being, and happiness
- Community resilience and sustainable livelihoods
Our initiatives under Social Sustainability include:
Community Development Initiatives
Creating grassroots interventions in education, awareness, and livelihoods.
Education & Child Development
Supporting learning opportunities, life skills, values, and future readiness for children.
Women Empowerment & Inclusion
Promoting participation, dignity, and economic inclusion.
Happiness, Well-Being & Human Development
Promoting mental wellness, compassion, mindfulness, and holistic progress.
We strongly believe that the “S” of ESG is not secondary—it is central to nation-building.
A truly developed India will be one where growth is inclusive, just, compassionate, and shared by all.
At Vijayash Foundation, we are committed to promoting Social Sustainability in letter and spirit—for a stronger society, a fairer economy, and a better future.
Kaushambi & Shravasti Development Initiatives
Vijayash Foundation has identified Kaushambi (near Prayagraj) and Shravasti (Uttar Pradesh) as priority regions for future grassroots development initiatives.
Recently, Vijayash Foundation visited Kaushambi, a spiritually and historically significant district near Prayagraj, where community interactions highlighted important educational and developmental needs. The Foundation understands that a large number of children in certain areas remain outside formal schooling and need support, opportunity, and hope. Based on its recent outreach, Vijayash Foundation is exploring initiatives focused on education, child development, awareness, well-being, and sustainable community upliftment in the district.
VF is therefore inviting CSR partners, philanthropists, institutions, and changemakers to collaborate in creating measurable impact in Kaushambi through structured child development and community programs.
Shravasti, another culturally significant and development-sensitive region, is also being explored for future interventions in social sustainability and inclusive growth.
Kaushambi and Shravasti are regions of deep spiritual and historical importance in India.
Kaushambi, near Prayagraj, is revered in Jain tradition as the birthplace of Bhagwan Padmaprabhu, and is also associated with his enlightenment after meditation. It is equally significant in Buddhism, as Lord Buddha spent several years there.
Shravasti is sacred as the birthplace of Bhagwan Sambhavnath in Jain tradition and is one of the most important Buddhist centres, where Lord Buddha spent over twenty years teaching.
These regions represent India’s timeless heritage of wisdom, compassion, and inner transformation, making them meaningful locations for development and education initiatives.
